quote We stepped in for the first time, after a friend of our family recommended this place. We are very delighted and all are in happy faces after the meal. I personally will vouch for the Laksa, equally flavoured with correct spices and hot. At last a place to get and eat Laksa. Char Koay Toew or Fried Koay Teow is another dish that tasted so good. The smell itself proved that it's Char Koay Teow. Worth the money, amount of food served is so much compared to so many other places charging more with less amount. Chinese Tea , perfecto!

quote I haven't been here for a while so I decided to pop in for lunch with a work colleague since we were in the area. I noticed quite a few things have changed since the last time I was here for a meal, maybe 6 - 8 months ago. I guess costs have gone up and they've had to cut back wherever they can. They no longer have the Maggi chilli sauce bottles on the tables. If you want it, you'll need to get it from the counter. They claim to have new items added to the menu eg Sarawak Laksa, although I could've sworn it was already on the menu. I'll need to visit again to try their version of Sarawak Laksa. Pictures look legit and pretty tempting, so I guess I'll have try it soon. We ordered a Singapore Fried Mee hoon, Nasi Lemak with chicken curry and a serve of fried wontons. All washed down with a couple of Cokes. I added extra noodles and a fried egg on top of my fried mee hoon. Fried egg was $4 and so was the extra meehoon. A bit steep but I figured I'd give it a go. Wait time for food to come out was around 10 - 15 minutes, which I suppose is pretty good considering all tables were full in the shop i.e. very busy. Singapore Fried Mee Hoon portions seem to have gotten significantly smaller. I thought at first I had received the regular portion instead of the extra noodles. However, the server confirmed that what I received was with extra noodles. The fried egg was done nicely. Crispy chewy white and the egg yolk was just runny enough. Flavourwise, there was a bit of wok hei to the noodles, but it wasn't spectacular. Had to put lots of the Maggi Chilli Sauce to give it that flavour boost. The photo I took of the fried meehoon was after I put the sauce on. Feedback from my colleague about his Nasi Lemak was that it was OK although the sambal seemed to be a bit bland and portion sizes seem to have been reduced also. The fried wontons were just as good as I remembered them to be so that's a plus.

quote I regularly order via Uber when I am working in the area during the evenings. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Hainanese Chicken Rice with soup, Nasi Lemak, Mee Goreng, Ice Kopi, Malay Curry Chicken, Special Fried Rice, Custard Bao Buns and Ice Cendol. The servings are very generous and great flavours. I am a big fan! Reminds me of when I visited Singapore. Thank you very much to the Chef and Staff x

quote A little hidden gem that services tasty Chinese/Malaysian food North of the River. Place is not big but still nicely spaced out with tables & seatings. Very friendly owner/staff. Food were tasty and had good wok fried flavour but the ho fun egg sauce I found slightly too salty & overpowering with soy sauce. My husband has never been a fan of fried kuay teow but he ordered it since I wanted the ho fun egg sauce and we didn’t want to order the same dish, he really enjoyed it and finished the whole plate. We also ordered the curry puffs (3 for $7) but we were way too full to eat any. Size is approx 2/3 of the standard curry puff size but they did look tasty and flakey. Definitely will return if we feel like Chinese/Malaysian food without travelling far.
