Used to visit this place a lot! First visit when the price was $8.90 per dish and now $17!
We went at lunch time, around 12:30pm and the place was quiet, only 2-3 other tables occupied.
Greeted by a friendly lady, not the usual face though. She took the order & completed transaction - paid.
Reasonable cooking time, decent portion. But the taste.. there’s something missing! We had the kolo mee (used to be wow so good), Laksa (tasted curry powder), house special fried rice (a bit tasteless) & nasi lemak.
It was definitely not as good as the old time. Maybe it has changed owner.
Will I come back? Maybe - but it won’t be the first choice.

Really solid spot for Malaysian food in Innaloo.
Tried their kolo mee again—always a winner, can’t go wrong with it. Also had a couple of their special dishes: the KL-style Hokkien mee (dark, rich sauce—super tasty) and the lo shi fun, which was perfect for cold/wet weather.
The wan tan hor / ying yong was also on point—nice smoky wok flavour and a smooth, eggy gravy.
Service was friendly and quick, and overall just a good, satisfying meal. Will definitely be back.

Best kolo mee ever!! Authentic malaysian food with affordable prices. We also ordered braised pork belly with rice and it was also really good. Staff were nice and friendly and had family restaurant vibes. Just wish the dishes were a bit bigger for the price.

The food is as what I've expected. The kway tiau is a bit oily and rich but the noodle taste good. Simple food but nice. Will try again next time, hope it's consistent
